Beagle Decorative/Ashley, Photographe en Provence, Upscale Interiors, Isle-Sur-la-Sorgue

Physical location – L’île aux Brocantes, L’Isle-Sur-la-Sorgue
Our take – Transplanted Briton Jonathan Barry raises the bar when it comes to distinctively refined pieces for the home in furniture, decorative arts, and cutting-edge examples of what’s happening in the art world today in Provence. Don’t miss the richly-hued cyanotypes of indigenous flowering herbs created by Ashley, “Photographe en Provence.” We’re huge fans and recommend a visit for the discerning shopper and collector!

Hôtel Duc de Saint-Simon, La Rive Gauche, Paris

Physical location – 14 rue de Saint-Simon, 75007 Paris
Our take – This quaint boutique hotel immediately captured our imagination. Nestled within a leafy Left Bank neighborhood, it proved to be the perfect enclave for relaxation after hectic days in the City of Light. It’s within walking distance of the Jardin du Luxembourg, up-and-coming fashion boutiques, cafés, and bistros. The Duc de Saint-Simon exudes Gallic charm, and its staff could not have made us feel more at home. We’re ready to go back!
